I just wanted to catch-up on some tidbits from around the Internet that have been happening this month. First, I’m sending one of you a brand new camera next week! If you are a new CampingBlogger reader, I give away something to one of the email subscribers every few months. In December, it was a Garmin eTrex Summit HC GPS receiver and this month it’s an Olympus Stylus 1050 SW digital camera. I’m already starting to brainstorm for the next giveaway, so let me know if you have any ideas.

Also in December, Toni Klym McLellan interviewed me for an article she was writing for the March issue of Parents Magazine. Earlier this month I wrote a post for Suzi Dow’s Camping with Suzi blog. Fred and Suzi Dow write guidebooks about the campgrounds available in our national forests, which are a great resource. Finally, CampingBlogger is supporting Seattle dad Mike Hahn in this summer’s LIVESTRONG Challenge, which are a series of fund raising events in support of the Lance Armstrong Foundation and their fight against cancer.  You can read more about Mike’s motivation to ride in the CHALLENGE here.
