Adventure apparel maker Cloudveil is looking for 25 men and women who exemplify the company’s outdoor-inspired lifestyle to write for its Blog, The Mountain Culture. Cloudveil is not limiting its search to 17-year old half-pipe pro’s, either. The application process is open to anyone: athletes, outdoor adventurers, musicians, artists, environmental advocates, and anyone who can inspire others to venture outside and challenge their personal limits.
“This program is a way for us to look beyond sponsored athletes and give other people who are getting after it in their own way a chance to be a part of our brand,” said Cloudveil Marketing Coordinator Nick Brosnan. “We look forward to finding an eclectic team of ambassadors for the winter season.”
This is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in getting into blogging, as Cloudveil is only looking for one post per month, from each of the 25 ambassadors. If you’re already blogging, this is a great opportunity to reach a wider audience and gain more exposure. And did I mention that one of the benefits is big discounts on gear? That’s right, all ambassadors receive a 45% discount on the company’s gear, which is nothing to sneeze at these days.
Entries are due by December 31st, so you don’t have a lot of time to debate this with your significant other. Luckily, the entry process is simple (though the competition surely won’t be); you can submit 150 words on why you deserve to be a Cloudveil ambassador to the company’s website here, or you can create a YouTube video and submit a link. Remember, Cloudveil isn’t necessarily looking for Olympic skiers, but people with a love for the outdoors and the gift of inspiration. Good luck!
I think they’d be all over that, Kevin. I get the impression that they’re looking for stuff outside of their current Idaho/Montana/Wyoming/Colorado content and there’s a lot of outdoor folks in the southeast!
Dang, what a sweet deal! I love Cloudveil, fantastic products. Wonder if they would be interested in a “Flatwoods Ambassador”? What do you think? Not too many mountains here in sunny Florida, but lots of great hiking and outdoors recreation.
Come on Mr. Nick Brosnan, give a Florida guy a chance!
wahoo’s last blog post..Hog Island Campground
