Trying to decide where to go for that perfect family camping vacation this summer? Tony Farley can help you out, with his comprehensive selection of high-definition streaming videos covering places like Crater Lake National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Arches National Park, and many more. These videos really give you a feel for what you can expect from visiting some of our nation’s great parks and it really highlights the power of the Internet as a medium for sharing experiences.
We’ve got a little high-definition video theme going on today, and Kevin Mims’ Wahoo Hiker site doesn’t disappoint in that area. Wahoo Hiker covers all facets of outdoor recreation in the southeast – camping, trail running, kayaking, mountain biking, and geocaching.
From southeast to northeast, Familycampman.com covers family camping in and around New England. Follow along with Eric as he attempts to motivate his not-so-enthusiastic wife into joining him and his son on their next family camping adventure.

Nice links but nothing about our national forests?!?!? That’s okay ’cause it means we’ll continue to enjoy their wonders without hoards of people. Just don’t tell anyone, unless you go to a “High Impact Recreation Area” (HIRA), you probably won’t have to pay an entry fee, like most national parks, and *yes* you can hike with your children and dogs.
Thanks so much for covering Beautiful Places. I have shows from Tahoe (Mt. Tallac), Death Valley, Zion, Zion Narrows, The Everglades, Sequoia NP, and The White Mountains in the works right now. I’m heading to the White Mountains next weekend to film Methuselah Grove in the snow.
